The CanPL.ca Newsroom crew of Kristian Jack and Charlie O’Connor-Clarke are back again to break down the second week of action in the 2022 Canadian Premier League season.

They begin with some headlines from around the league, including reigning Player of the Year Joao Morelli’s injury (3:10), before jumping into a breakdown of Forge and Cavalry’s 2-2 draw, and all its controversy, at Tim Hortons Field (6:40).

From there, KJ and Charlie move on to Starlight Stadium, where Pacific defeated Valour 3-2 (19:00), and they’re joined live by Marco Bustos to discuss his three-assist performance for the Tridents (21:50). After that, it’s Atlético Ottawa’s 1-0 win over HFX Wanderers and a look at how different the capital club is under Carlos González (40:07), and then CanPL.ca contributor Alexandre Gangué-Ruzic joins to chat about FC Edmonton and York United’s snowy 1-1 draw (48:50).

The show finishes with a recap of the news surrounding the Vancouver-area CPL expansion team (59:43), as well as a look ahead at Week 3’s matchups.
