Former UKIP leader Nigel Farage laughed in the face of Guy Verhofstadt after the European Parliament’s Brexit coordinator launched an attack on the former Ukip leader in Strasbourg.
Verhofstadt launched a furious attack on leading Brexit supporter and British MEP Nigel Farage in the European Parliament claiming an extension to Article 50 would hand Mr Farage a “new mandate”. Mr Verhofstadt claimed an extension to Brexit is “exactly” what Mr Farage wants, so “he can continue to have a salary that he can transfer to his offshore company”.
Responding to the accusations from Mr Verhofstadt, former Ukip leader Nigel Farage was filmed hunched over with laughter.
