This 30-minute informal conversation gave parents and caregivers a chance to ask child development experts, Brenda Jones Harden (Alison Richman Professor for Children and Families, University of Maryland School of Social Work, and Director, Prevention and Early Adversity Research Laboratory) and Joy D. Osofsky (Paul J. Ramsay Chair of Psychiatry, Barbara Lemann Professor of Child Welfare, Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and Director, Harris Center for Infant Mental Health Center), direct questions about stress and coping for children and parents during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event was moderated by Laura L. Namy, Executive Director of the Society for Research in Child Development. Participants were able to submit questions in advance as well as post them in real time during the event.
