Cairns to Cape Tribulation is normally done as a day trip from Cairns but the Cape Tribulation drive is so scenic and so breathtaking, you'll want to stop everywhere and soak in the coastal views.
The beautiful Daintree Rainforest on one end and the sparkling blue Coral sea on the other makes the best road trip in Queensland. This Cairns vlog is all about Cairns to Cape Tribulation Road trip where we stop at

Out of all these places, Mossman Gorge is the best one with the super famous Mossman Gorge swimming hole and Mossman Gorge Rainforest Circuit Track, which I did by the way. It was secluded and amazing! Just beware of the mozzies.
You park at Mossman Gorge centre and take a shuttle bus to the gorge. There are plenty of things to do there, including Mossman Gorge dreamtime walk which takes you through an aboriginal experience.
I really wanted to make a Port Douglas travel guide but I did not spend enough time in that town. I would highly recommend to spend a day at Port Douglas for its resorts, restaurants and markets.
I spent some time at Palm Cove beach but don't go into the water as there might be salt water crocodiles in the ocean.
