In the wake of the George Floyd trial and the Black Lives Matter protest marches it's important to remember to keep the spirit alive and in constant circulation until there's a significant change in racial inequality.
I'd hate to think that to some people, because it's been 2/3 weeks since it was more prevalent on social media that now it's something people are moving past - that it doesn't matter anymore as part of our social throwaway culture.. It certainly feels that way a little to me.
Please allow it to stay with you.
Rather than sharing this newly-released Machine Head track (featuring Jessie Leach) supporting the cause, I decided to cover it. We're doing what we can as individuals for global recognition of police brutality and racial profiling in the justice system, and this is what I have to offer - Black Lives Matter.
We've seen some justice for George Floyd with that prick Chauvin behind bars, but by no means does it stop there. Keep supporting the cause and do what you can to bring this humanity-dividing stupidity to an end.
