There is a lot of comment on social networks about the dress that Australian film star Cate Blanchett wore on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival on May 20. It was seen by many as yet another show of Kate's support for the Palestinians.
The dress appeared to be black with a white back. When Blanchett lifted the hem, everyone saw that it had a green lining. Along with the red color of the path, it looked like the color scheme of the Palestinian flag, which combines black, white, red and green.
