In the pilot of Episode 1 of PedalQuest, a proof of concept that started as a raw vision captured on our phones, we document our real-time journey—uphill struggles and winding paths included—as we navigate and tackle the terrain that tests our endurance and our bikes' mettle. Initially limited by our phone's filming capabilities, this very first outing pushed us to level up, inspiring us to hone our skills in documentary storytelling and video creation. It's the journey that sharpens both our resolve and, let's be honest, our calf muscles as well.

Upon arriving at the majestic Crawford Priory, we found ourselves face to face with a fragment of history, Lady Mary Lindsay Crawford's architectural dream now faded into a haunting canvas. Through the lens, we captured the poignant beauty of decay, the intricate architectural details, and shared the stories of past inhabitants and the lingering, legendary whisperings of this storied place.

Over the last six months, we've thrown ourselves into research, upped our equipment game, and sharpened our abilities, which included our first foray into using DaVinci Resolve for editing. This episode is not just the unveiling of a historic site but also our own evolution and readiness to venture into the world of video creation with the rich background in photography we bring to the table.
