We conclude the Palestine Summer Course, Popular University for Gaza/Palestine, by appropriately honoring Palestinian organic intellectual Ghassan Kanfani, who was martyred 52 years ago, along with his niece Lamees, by a bomb planted in his car by Israeli intelligence, the Mossad. Panelists in our final Open Classroom will discuss different aspects of Kanafani’s contributions to Palestine as a living project of life, resistance, justice and freedom defying genocide and erasure, ranging from prison literature, music and archives, to intellectual and literary critiques.
