SB = Southbound
TTC = Toronto Transit Commission
This is the elevator that serves the southbound platform & the concourse in The North York Centre TTC Subway Station in North York, A Suburb of Toronto. My long time viewers may remember that way back in March of 2018 I Filmed the elevator that serves the northbound platform at this subway station, Since I Headed to this part of Toronto on this filming trip, I Decided to get a video of the southbound platform elevator. This station opened in 1987 on The Yonge-University-Spadina Line and it opened between Sheppard-Yonge & Finch Stations. This station didn't have elevators when it was first built but in 2009, This station underwent upgrades to make this station accessible with elevators.
This one is a standardized TTC Subway Elevator however this one is a little bit bigger than most of the subway elevators in Toronto, This one has a 1-Speed Door & A Larger cab. This elevator has a very nice sounding E-Pitch Dry-Powered Hydraulic Pump. This elevator runs good and is in great cosmetic conditon. This elevator has a fan however it's not loud enough to drown the hydraulic pump out.
