Liverpool Law School‘s Dr Stephanie Reynolds explains the legal minefield in store for UK and EU negotiators as they seek to resolve one of the major outstanding issues to be considered following the activation of Article 50.
Dr Reynolds outlines the rights of non-British EU citizens living in Britain, and those of British EU citizens living in the wider European Union. She then sets out the UK government’s current position before detailing some of the options on the table for both sides, concluding with what she sees as the most likely outcome.
