So the weather has finally cleared up, my gf and I were about to run some errands and she told me it was cool if we went on some back roads to test out the new drag radials on the Shelby GT500. I gave it a little pull in second gear just to start warming the tires up, and then she suddenly became fearful and begged me not to accelerate hard from a stand still. I was planning on launching it once or twice with her in the car, but she was so scared and I respected her request not to 'go fast'. So I came back a few days alter when the sun was out again, and got a few launches in on the new drag radials on the Shelby GT500. In the beginning of this video, it is just a Shelby GT500 reaction from my gf on a soft pull in 2nd gear. Anyway, I came back and got some decent launches in on them. They hook up way better than the stock tires, the good year eagle f1 G2, but i will say the drag radials are less precise on turning, and youll see in my next video, the drag radials are really bad in a heavy downpour unlike the stock good year eagle f1 g2 tires. Anyway, hope you enjoy the clips, I might take it to the real drag strip tomorrow and see what kinda time I can pull if I actually hit all the gears right haha. Enjoy, see you in the next one!
