CD-ROM was, and indeed remains, a wonderous thing. But back in the mid '90s it was almost magical. Here was a medium that could hold over 400 floppy disks worth of data in one reflective, rainbow coloured circle. Compact Discs had been used in the music industry for a while by now, but having data on these CDs was a whole new ball game. The excitement of popping in a disc and searching it's seemingly endless supplies of data was staggering, and that's exactly what I want to talk to you about in this Nostalgic Discharge.
