MULTI-award winning Aretha Franklin's friends and family will gather to say their final goodbyes to the esteemed singer today.

When is Aretha Franklin's funeral?
The world lost the Queen of Soul on Thursday, August 16, as her battle with pancreatic cancer came to an end.
Aretha will be laid to rest today, Friday, August 31, at 10am Eastern Standard Time, which is 3pm in the UK.
The funeral will see the legendary artist's family and closest friends say goodbye to the singer in the private event.
Over a 100 pink Cadillacs are expected to line up outside the church to pay homage to Franklin's song Freeway of Love, in which she sings about a pink Cadillac.
Who will perform at the service?
Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Holliday, Jennifer Hudson and Yolanda Adam are set to perform at the service, according to CNN.
Others performing are Faith Hill, Ronald Isley, Chaka Khan, Fantasia, Shirley Caesar, The Clark Sisters, Tasha Cobbs-Leonard, Marvin Sapp, The Williams Brothers, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, classical artist Audrey DuBois Harris, soprano Alice McAllister Tillman, Franklin's son Edward Franklin, the Aretha Franklin Orchestra and the Aretha Franklin Celebration Choir.
Music producer Clive Davis is also planning a tribute concert to honour Aretha.
The concert will take place at New York City's Madison Square Garden in November.
Where is it being held?
Aretha Franklin's funeral will be held at the Greater Grace Temple in Detroit, Michigan.
The singer was born in Memphis, Tennessee, but moved to Detroit when she was five.
Her body will be entombed at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
