Born in a Malaysian refugee camp to Vietnamese parents, Fr. Wayne Ly’s family moved to the States when he was young. After deciding to leave his faith immediately following his confirmation, a transformative experience unfolded during a confirmation retreat. A profound spark ignited within him, leading to a spiritual awakening that solidified his belief in a higher power and an overwhelming sense of love. This was the first of the spiritual encounters that were to follow.
