Vox recently released a video on the Nakba, a deeply significant chapter in Palestinian history, as part of its “Missing Chapter” series. But what happens when parts of that missing history are…missing?

Let’s be clear: Vox effectively conveyed the Palestinian perspective of what happened in 1948. But there’s a much broader story they left out. Instead of merely acknowledging one side, let’s tell the full story. The Palestinian perspective is important, but it should be understood in context. Here are four missing chapters that give a bit more context to the story Vox set out to tell.
