This video is of Route 1, the first portion of Viridian City, and the return to Pallet Town with Oak's Parcel in Pokemon Red for the Game Boy.

Route 1 is aptly named as it is the first route visited in the game. This is where the player will first encounter wild pokemon they must battle.

Viridian City is the first major city visited. However, its gym is currently closed so no badge can be earned here yet. By visiting the Pokemart, the player receives Oak's Parcel, which he must return to Professor Oak.

Back in Pallet Town, the player receives the pokedex and then a town map from Gary's sister. This is the last necessary visit to Pallet Town.
