I got this Strela, Flash Hider Mini Gen2 in to test out recently. It consists of 4 pieces like a Bulgaria 4 piece brake. It’s a 24x1.5 thread that will fit the AK-P. YOU WILL NEED THE 7.62 CONE!! It is marked and comes with a chrome 5.45 cone, but you may be able to swap for a 7.62. Seems to be very well made. I didn’t notice ANY flash out of the Strela.(I’m not sure how to pronounce it) The Strela acts like other similar blast cans or boosters, projecting the sound out and away, but also pushing back on the shooter more than a break. However, the controllability of brakes come with concussion and flash!! While the recoil is more than a brake, it makes the 10.5” barrel a lot more friendly to the ears. If you are looking for a 4 piece with these qualities, or just for that Krink look, this is a very cost effective option.
As far as the AC Unity mags.... they feed well, and are the only 7.62 AKM mags I’ve seen with a window. That said, the “space age” plastic is super thin. Some type of feed lip reinforcements may help. The mag body split on the first drop. Shoulder height on a rock, pretty much the same results Mac had on Military Arms Channel... This is a little disappointing since I had bought a few of these. Oh well, guess I have range mags. They should work as long as you are careful with them, but there are better options for just a few dollars more. Hopefully I can get out and shoot in lower light to really show off the superior flash hiding capabilities of this Strela 4 piece!

* I would recommend putting some anti-seize grease on the threads located under the cap, I have had carbon seize it shut before on a Bulgarian 4 piece.
