Our friends at the International Rafting Federation put together an awesome series of pieces on knots, this video is featuring the Figure Eight Double Loop. This knot is most commonly used to tie into multiple anchor points in a self equalizing system. This knot can be extremely useful if you are stuck in a canyon and need to do a vertical extraction. Before you use any of these techniques please make sure you get the appropriate training from a skilled instructor.
