“The Big Man,” Andy Fusco, a true giant of the jazz alto saxophone, passed away on April 5, 2021 from complications due to Covid-19.

Playing with Andy was an incredible experience, always swinging and burning! Andy sounds fantastic on this up-tempo Walt Weiskopf composition INSUBORDINATION filmed at the 2006 Modern Drummer Festival. Jazz Legacy featured Andy Fusco (alto sax), Walt Weiskopf (tenor sax), Mark Soskin (piano) and Baron Browne (bass).

Andy was a born entertainer and comedian, never running out of stories on the many travels we had over the years. We all loved hanging and playing with Andy Fusco.
