This video was inspired by an article written by Louis Cahill of Gink & Gasoline entitled "Has distance casting hijacked rod design." Kelly describes the differences between weight forward and double taper fly lines, and why modern fly lines have had to change to match up with today's fast action rods. If you take one thing away from this video it should be to always stalk more and cast less.
