While mowing the other day, I decided to take a short clip of Mowing Tall, wet Bahia and a mix of other grass with my Gravely Pro Ride. It had been raining a few hours earlier, along with raining nearly every day for the last week or so.
There is not very much EverRide Warrior or Gravely Pro Ride video available to view, and especially mowing wet grass, so I wanted to add this short one to my list of short videos.
The blades have about 35-40 hours on them so they are getting a little dull but I thought that the Pro Ride did a good job of cutting and dispersing the wet grass at a decent speed, without any clumping by the deck. This grass has about two weeks growth on it but it is not too tall or thick in some places because we had been in a drought situation before the rain came last week. The grass has grown back pretty well in most areas now.
This grass is not dripping wet (other than the areas that had some standing casual water) but it is still pretty wet. I have mowed this same place immediately after a good, 30 minute shower with the same mower and the results were the same, except that the grass wasn't as tall , so there weren't as many clippings showing after finishing the place.
