Hybrid Exploration Robot for Land and Air Deployment
Mechanical Engineering Senior Design project that integrates a quadrotor with two snake-like robots. The quadrotor is build from scratch and designed to optimize the relationship between weight and thrust and is capable of carrying a payload of at least 1200 g. The snake robots are a novel design built to be robust and lightweight. The three wheels and four servo actuators on the snake give them seven degrees of freedom.
