Yes, it is dangerous and life-threatening. When we compare pancreatic cancer to other digestive system cancers, we can see that the outcomes of pancreatic cancer are not better.
Only 11% of pancreatic cancer patients will survive the third of five years.

Some factors make pancreatic cancer dangerous.
1. The location of the pancreas
Because the pancreas is deeply embedded in the stomach, early pancreatic cancer is difficult to detect.
Because of these factors, the cure rate for pancreatic cancer is low, and only 15% of patients are candidates for surgery.
2. Spreading proclivity
It is cancer that spreads quickly and to other organs.

3:40 What is the pancreatic cancer survival rate or curative ratio?
In the early stages of pancreatic cancer, the 5-year survival rate is 42%.
In stage 4 pancreatic cancer, the 5-year survival rate is only 3%.
On average, no one lives longer than 10 years. However, there have been reports of patients living disease-free for 20 to 30 years.
