Pizza Rossa:
- 850g pizza dough
- 2 -3 cups of passata
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 garlic clove, sliced
- 4 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil, extra for drizzling
- all-purpose flour for dusting
Toppings:
- stracciatella cheese, as desired
- anchovies, as desired
- 1 lemon, zest
- fresh cracked pepper, as desired
In a mixing bowl, combine passata, salt, chilli flakes, garlic, and olive oil. Stretch the pizza dough ball and spread the tomato mixture over the dough. Sprinkle chilli flakes on top and drizzle olive oil. Bake in a preheated oven at 500 degrees for about 20 minutes. Remove and let it cool. Top with dollops of stracciatella cheese, pepper, lemon zest, and anchovies. Cut into pieces and enjoy.
