Ladies and Germs.... ohhh I meant "Gentlemen!" I formally introduce you to my fine-fretted friend, who makes his VERY FIRST appearance in any of my videos right here and now... please say HELLO, to MR BANJO!!!
Don't worry, I'm not doing anything fancy with it here (have to practice more for that), just some basic strumming for a nice "banjo-ified" texture and sound. In fact, this is one of the RARE videos I've done with absolutely NO guitar whatsoever in it.

As per request, this is my Coronavirus handwash parody to spoof the classic 1982 smash "Come On Eileen" by the elusive "Dexy's Midnight Runners", and make it into "COVID-19". Forgive me, for I forgot who suggested "Come On Eileen" as a wash parody, but SOMEONE gave me the initial idea, so if it was you, please step forward NOW!

This is the second wash-parody I've had to include the "special bonus" feature of extra 20 seconds of glove removal preparation before washing your hands... just so I had enough time to get in all the lyrics I could to make this wash-parody work properly! Why a "glove removal" scene, you may ask? This comes in extra "handy" for those of you who may have just returned from a trip to the grocery store, etc, and need to remove your gloves before properly washing up. And YES, you STILL need to wash after having gloves on! LOL

Again, if you have any ideas you'd like to see done as a "handwashing video" please let me know!

Is everybody making sure to wash their hands long enough to help fight off this darn Coronavirus thingy? I've decided to try out some tunes that can help you keep up your handwashing hygiene for the appropriate 20-second length while we all ward off germs and such.
