In this video Dr. Ramchandra, Senior Interventional Cardiologist at Sri Sri Holistic Hospitals talks about the ways in which the Coronavirus spreads from one person to the other. He says that there are basically 2 possible ways to transmit the virus.

First, when a healthy person comes in contact with the infected person. For Example, Coronavirus infected person coughs; the droplets from his mouth can travel up to 4 feet and fall on the other person or any surface. So, maintaining the right distance and wearing masks can help save us from the infection.

The other way of the spread of the virus is through touching the infected fomites like a table, cellphone, doorknobs etc. He also adds that you have to wash your hands and keep them clean even though you are sitting at home or if you are touching some object which has been handled by some other person.

The most important thing is to avoid touching the fomites like staircase railing, door lock and avoid touching your face with your hands. The virus can live on a different object for different timings (from hours to days). Unfortunately, if you touched any fomites just wash your hands thoroughly with soap for 20 seconds or use 60% alcohol-based sanitizer to clean the hand.

He says that Luckily India has put isolation earlier than many other developed countries to stop the spread of Coronavirus by seeing China, South Korean countries. Check out this video to know it in detail.
