Origami Studios are very close to the release of their NEW Payware scenery addon for Microsoft Flight Simulator and today we have a special preview to show you all!
Gatwick is one of the UK's busiest airport, and currently the busiest on VATSIM too so it makes for a perfect scenery addon for sim pilots! Origami Studios have gone into great detail with the Airport addon, without sacrificing much on performance so it feels stable and highly detailed.
Out Now for MSFS, with a very good price of £11.99 excl VAT , you will be able to pick it up directly on the iniBuilds Store or in the MSFS Marketplace. It also does not include any static aircraft - perfect for one of VATSIM's busiest airports!
Home to plenty of airlines like British Airways, TUI, easyJet, Virgin Atlantic and Cargo Operators, there are plenty of route options available from EGKK from short haul to long haul!
Thoughts so far? It is in direct comparison with a fantastic freeware option on flightsim.to which we have all enjoyed for a fairly long time. This particular scenery has a more "lived-in" look to it and thus feels that bit more realistic, though is missing the animated trains and some interior design. They're both absolutely fantastic in their own rights and the competition being in place is certainly a positive thing. This one for me offers better performance so moves slightly ahead in preference.

Naturally, Sim Update 5 has caused wider LOD issues in MSFS and the Origami Studios team are looking at addressing that as soon as possible. Usually, like with all other scenery affected by SU5, a quick reload after loading in forces the sim to generate jetways again. This is ultimately down to Asobo to fix however so shouldn't be held against any developers.
