This video shows how to assemble Parker's hydraulic fitting – the Parker Progressive Stop Ring (PSR) fittings.
Parker hydraulic fittings, like the PSR, produce a high pressure, leak free connection of tubes, pipes and hoses in the hydraulic system.
The basic function of EO-PSR is the controlled progressive bite of the EO-PSR into the tube due to a unique internal geometry. Watch to see how to assemble.
What is an EO fitting?
Ermeto-fittings soon became popular due to the simple assembly requiring two wrenches. Today, the EO-PSR fitting is the most widely used bite-type fitting in the world. EO fittings are designed for metric tube. All threads, hexagons, bores and other dimensions are purely metric.
