Time for the teardown of the S5 Pro and time to investigate some things.
After giving my initial review on the phone, it didn't end up being a bad device.
But after a few people pointed me in the right direction, this phone does end up lost in a sea of other feature rich phones.
While the advertised heatpipe in the phone is not what is in it, Umidigi showed in their teardown a quick shot of the heatpipe in all it's glory so, it's just a bit of fancy advertising, that's all.
The depth sensor is also another dud as far as I can tell.
But, I'll say the phone is *good*. But, if you can get it super cheap then it's fine. Otherwise, for it's RRP and even $240USD price, it's just a lot of iffy things with it that make it unreasonable.
(No software updates planned, no security patches planned etc)
Anyways, sit back, relax and listen to another discount Jerry Rig Everything video.
