Religion and wars. This new song of mine is a song set in a mythical land, somewhere far away. However, the locals devoutly defend their truth from those who are non believers , or who haven't seen their way, so off they go to battle again. Every word they've read and been told by their ancestors is taken as gospel and interpreted/ mis -interpreted down the ages, leading to them vanquishing those who believe otherwise. As one famous band said, 'tell me your truth and I'll tell you mine'. Surely every belief should be peaceful...
