In this video, I demonstrate how to blanch broccoli to keep it bright green. These same tips can be applied to other vegetables as well. Even herbs like basil!!!
KEY NOTES:
-Cut the vegetables so they are similar in size
-Water MUST be boiling and salted
-Ice water bath....stops the vegetable from cooking and locks in the color
