Gram flour flatbreads
Serves 3-4
300g gram flour
1 tsp chilli flakes (add any ground or fresh spice of your choice)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tablespoon of olive oil
220 -240g water
Put all the dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix together, create a well in the bowl.
Add the oil to the water and pour half into the well, carefully start to mix with a spoon, add the rest of the water as you mix.
The finished batter should be smooth and the consistency of a thick runny quite oozy batter.
On a medium heat, heat a non-stick pan and add a drizzle of oil.
You can add the batter to create one large flatbread or in smaller dollops for individual breads.
Cook for approximately 2-3 minutes each side. Bubbles will appear when ready to flip.
Serve up with some curry!
