Fire Hose feeder
Our wonderful Volunteers and Team Leader Jessica Prinsloo made this brilliant fire hose feeder for the Spider Monkey enclosure. This feeder will be installed soon and will be used to encourage natural foraging behaviour for the Spider Monkeys as part of our Enrichment Project.
The Johannesburg Zoo keepers and animal attendants will hide some of the monkeys’ food in this feeder, which will encourage them to work through each pocket to find food.
