Today's Retro REMAKE is of an Allstate Insurance commercial from 1987, including its jingle at the time with the company's famous "Good Hands" slogan, one of the most recognized slogans in the United States.

At the time this commercial aired, Allstate was still part of the "Sears Financial Network," Sears' portfolio of companies outside of the department store business. This included Allstate, Discover card, Coldwell Banker, and the Sears Savings Bank. Allstate's parent company was Sears from 1931-1995.
