6 years after Cardi B dropped her first mixtape with an attention-grabbing cover image, she appeared in a California courtroom on Tuesday to battle a $5 million lawsuit claiming this cover “ruined” the private life of Kevin Brophy.
The mixtape cover featured Cardi and a part of a tattooed man from behind and the man’s face cannot be seen.
Kevin Brophy is suing the rapper in a copyright infringement lawsuit in federal court as it was his tattoed back used on the cover.
