A group of young microbiologists from SIMS & RC role play here as a patient, an intern and a doctor. They enact a hypothetical scenario. This video is done for student learning and to throw some light on ethical practice, patient autonomy, rights of a patient, consent taking and disclosure to a patient.
This is an example of how a consent or doctor patient relationship should not be.
Students who learn ethical practice will be able to logically question what is wrong with the video and thus spark their curiosity for a discussion.
