Maharaja Balbir Singh, a widower, lives in Himmatpur with his four children namely - Hema, Asha, Pratap and Rajendra. A strict father, he instructs his children to carry their royalty on their sleeve and address him as 'Your Highness'. Maharaja's eldest daughter Hema is paralytic, waist downwards and has lost all hope in life. A young and handsome man named Dr. Sanjay is appointed to cure Hema.
