Zillow does an excellent job of valuing many properties. The problem is they do not do an excellent job o0f valuing every property. People have no idea which properties are valued right and which are not.

A few years ago Zillow was as much as 42 percent off on some of my rentals. They are actually much closer now but on some of my flips, they are still way off on values. There are many things that can mess up online property values. That is why I always suggest a real person value a home and not a computer program.

I also compared one of my properties on Realtor.com, Redfin, and Zillow to see how each platform valued the property. One of those sites was almost $100,000 low valuing a property that was worth $315,000. You can see a recent video of that property here: [ Ссылка ]

If you want an accurate value you need to use a real estate agent who has access to the MLS and can pull accurate sold data. As I show in the video Zillow sold data is not accurate either! I talk about how you can try to value properties on your own here as well but it is not easy. [ Ссылка ]
