Since the inception of our Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program in 1974, our objective has always been to train future leaders in the exemplary advancement and practice of neonatal-perinatal medicine. Our moderately sized program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education for a total complement of nine fellows (three per year). Fellows chosen for our program will see the quality and quantity of patients that facilitate extraordinary clinical training. Our Level IV NICU is part of UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital, which is the primary transfer center for neonatal patients in North Center Florida. We pride ourselves on the knowledge and expertise our fellows will receive in newborn critical care and convalescence; they will also gain experience in research design and interpretation of findings, as well as leadership and delivery of education skills. As such, they are highly competitive for positions in either academic or private practice settings. We consider the education of our fellows, as well as their personal and professional development, our top priorities. We hope you will consider UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital for the next step of your career in neonatology. Visit [ Ссылка ] for more information.
