The Downtown Sacramento Partnership announced a pilot program on Thursday that intends to bring more entertainment to the Old Sacramento Waterfront. K Street from Second to Front streets will be car-free every weekend through September from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Instead, the historic street will be limited to pedestrians, bicyclists and others interested in enjoying live music and games, like checkers and corn hole.
