Keep in mind that you only need to satisfy at least 3 of the following 8 criteria in order to qualify for an O-1 visa:

#1. Awards
You’ve won nationally or internationally recognized awards or prizes for excellence in your field

#2. Memberships
You're a member of a professional association or group that requires outstanding achievements of its members

#3. Critical or Essential Employment
You’ve been employed in a critical or essential role for an organization with a distinguished reputation

#4. Judging
You've served as a judge of the work of others in your field

#5. Press
Your work has been covered by professional or major trade publications or other major media

#6. High Remuneration
You have been paid a high salary compared to others in the same role in the same geographic area or you own significant equity in a distinguished organization

#7. Original Contributions
You have made original or unique contributions of major significance in your industry

#8. Scholarly Articles
You have authored or co-authored an article in a peer-reviewed journal or other publication for industry professionals
