We team up with a carnivorous plant expert and enthusiast Mr Yudhistira in this episode to discuss Nepenthes. We start by defining what carnivorous plant behavior is, and where they stem from in evolutionary terms. We talk about their natural habitats, importance for ecosystems, their symbiotic relationship with many animals (Some of them you would be surprised), and conservation. We also break down the pitchers morphology, to understand what are the designs and functions of the pitchers to very minute details that is fun and interesting!
