Going out in Group B of qualifying, #1-Sam Mayer won the pole for Saturday’s Drive For The Cure 250 Xfinity Series race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval. It’s his second career pole, with his first also coming at Charlotte — on the oval in 2022.
Quickest in practice #7-Justin Allgaier ran the second best lap in qualifying, giving JR Motorsports a clean sweep of the front row. #8-Josh Berry will lineup third, with #10-Daniel Hemric and #2-Sheldon Creed rounding out the top five.
#48-Parker Kligerman, #00-Cole Custer, #21-Austin Hill, #98-Riley Herbst and #91-Alex Labbe filled the top 10. The top eight drivers are all playoff drivers.
NASCAR canceled the final round of qualifying after extensive cleanup to the track from an oil leak on Boris Said’s car in Group A.
