Standlynch Chapel is a Grade II listed building in Downton, Wiltshire,
Rebuilt in 1677, on the site of a medieval church, it became the private Chapel of the Nelson family after they were gifted the estate by the Crown after Horatio Nelson's death in the battle of Trafalgar.
The site has unfortunately fell into a state of dereliction in the last 40 years, so join us as we take a look inside this this important historical building, and find a tomb inside.............
