Chapli Kabab Smash Burger
Ingredients for Chapli Kabab:
Beef mince 1 kg (40% fat & 60% meat)
Onion (chopped) 1 cup
Tomato (chopped) 1/2 cup
Green chilies (chopped) 2 tbsp
Green coriander (chopped) 2 tbsp
Black pepper powder 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tbsp
Red chili flakes 1 tsp
Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tbsp
Chickpea flour (besan) 1/4 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 ½ tbsp.
Mustard paste 1 tbsp
Egg 1
Egg yolk 1
Oil (for frying) 2 tbsp
Cheddar cheese slice 2
Ingredients for Sauce:
Mayonnaise 1 cup
Red chili flakes 1 tsp
Chili sauce 2 tbsp
Ketchup 2 tbsp
Jalapeno (chopped) 2 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Ingredients for Caramelized Onion:
Oil 2 tbsp
Onion (sliced) 1 cup
Sugar 1 tsp
Ingredients for Assembling:
Burger buns as required
Prepared sauce as required
Lettuce leaves as required
Prepared chapli kabab with cheese
Tomato (sliced) as required
Caramelized onion as required
Jalapeno (sliced) as required
Directions for Chapli Kabab Preparation:
1. In a bowl add beef mince, onion, tomato, green chilies, black pepper powder, salt, red chili flakes, coriander seeds, garam masala powder, cumin powder, chickpea flour, ginger garlic paste, mustard paste, egg, egg yolk and mix it well.
2. On a griddle heat oil and place a chapli kabab mixture. Smash it on the griddle. Cook each side until fully done. Now place a cheese slice on it, place a cheese patty on top and then place another cheese slice on it. Make these double tacker kabab patties and set aside.
Directions for Sauce Preparation:
3. In a bowl add mayo, red chili flakes, chili sauce, ketchup, jalapeno, salt, black pepper powder and mix it well. Set aside.
Directions for Caramelized Onion Preparation:
4. In a pan heat oil and add onion and sugar. Cook until onion caramelizes. Set aside.
Directions for Assembling:
5. Take the base of the burger bun, spread sauce on it and place lettuce leaves. Place double tacker chapli kabab with cheese on it.
6. Now place tomatoes, caramelized onion, jalapeno and place top burger bun.
7. Your Chapli Kabab Smash Burger is ready.
