"Le Marché des Producteurs de Pays" set up shop in the heart of a local Parisian village, les Batignolles, for two days, the last weekend in November.
As France started to come out of Lockdown 2.0 (most "non essential" retailers were allowed to reopen on Saturday,) Parisians spilled out onto the sidewalks around lovely Square des Batignolles, making their way through stalls and stalls of quality, regional products, displayed proudly by farmers happy to answer visitors' questions.
Everyone wore face masks, yet social distancing rules were challenging to follow at times, but there was good energy at the market, among visitors and merchants alike.
I strolled through the market for a few minutes, fighting my way through shopping trolleys ("caddies,") kids' strollers ("poussettes,") and captured what I saw on my phone, (vertically, because Instagram! ;-)) minus the delicious smells of food.
