A cellphone video captured shortly after the Seacor Power lift boat capsized in the Gulf of Mexico last week shows a crew member wearing a life jacket in the water getting pulled in to safety by Good Samaritans on a nearby vessel.
Alejandro Perez, who shot the video, says he saw a life jacket and a boat on a parked jack-up boat about 10 miles away during the first night of the search and rescue efforts.
