In this video I take a 2012 Mac mini 2.5GHz i5, and replace the slow 500GB HDD with 2 Solid State Drives. I also upgrade the ram from 4GB to the max supported 16GB of Ram. Then I finish the video up by installing Mac OS Catalina which is the most current OS this Mac mini will support. During the repair I tried to take a shortcut and it didn't go well!
Part 2 - In part 2 of this video I am going to add a Razer Core X eGPU with a Sapphire Radeon RX580 Graphics cards to this Mac mini and run some benchmarks to see if this Mac mini is worth using in 2020.
