Possibly winning the competition for the TFL route with the most Hail and Ride sections (you’ll see in the video), Route 434 spans from West Coulsdon, at Ridgemount Avenue, through the posh parts of Purley and Kenley, before then terminating at Waspes Lodge Roundabout, Whyteleafe South.
The first stop, Ridgemount Avenue, is literally right at the edge of the entire Greater London suburbs (look at a satellite map), therefore the bus stop is about 50m away from Surrey. However, the route actually finishes in Surrey, after exiting London near Whyteleafe Station. This is kind of cool in that it is very nearly a route that both starts and finishes outside of London, despite being a TFL service.
Anyway, this was very chill to do. It’s scheduled to take only 31 minutes, but we arrived around 2-3 mins early at the end, so it took around 29 minutes. I was the only one on board for the entire journey bar an elderly person who went between Coulsdon and Purley, but that was it. Surprisingly enough we picked nobody up in any of the Hail and Ride sections lol.
(Fun Fact - I actually did a 434 visual about a year ago now, but it really failed and I ended up quickly deleting the upload.)
