Just a little tribute to four fellas I would have loved to have dated, but I was born too late! James Darren, Fabian, Michael Callan and John Saxon were talented performers who made more than their share of females swoon in the 50s and 60s. All four are still going strong and have lost none of their charm and talent. I fell in love with James Darren in "Gidget" (1959), Fabian in "Ride The Wild Surf" (1964), Michael Callan in "Gidget Goes Hawaiian (1961), and John Saxon through "Portrait In Black" (1960) and later in "A Nightmare On Elm Street" (1984) and "Black Christmas" (1974). Darren and Callan appeared together in "Because They're Young" and "Gidget Goes Hawaiian", and Fabian and Saxon appeared together in "Mr Hobbs Takes A Vacation" (1962).
The song is of course by the Poni-Tails.
